Congratulations to David Yearsley, who has been appointed Herbert Gussman Professor of Music (a title previously held by Neal Zaslaw) by the University’s Board of Trustees. His new title is effective April 1, 2021. As Cornell Dean of Arts & Sciences Ray Jayawardhana expressed, this is not only an individual honor to David, it also brings prominence to the Center for Historical Keyboards, the Department of Music, and the College of Arts & Sciences.
