We are excited to announce the fourth meeting of the Chamber Music Collective, a six-day intensive chamber music program (June 22 - June 27, 2025) dedicated to repertoire from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Applications are now being accepted from advanced music students and young professionals in strings, piano, and voice.
Classes and workshops will be led by distinguished international faculty members, who will perform side by side with participating students on a wonderful range of period instruments. In addition to chamber music coaching, there will also be workshops on historical improvisation and Alexander Technique. All sessions and concerts are open and free to the public.
Our program is tuition-free for our accepted students. Participants will receive free lodging, breakfast and lunches during the festival week. Although prior experience with period instruments is not required, participants should be ready to play on a collection of historical keyboards and to use gut strings tuned to A=430 while participating in CMC.
We look forward to receiving your applications!
